The mission of Wellness Counseling Quarterly is to advance the field of wellness counseling by fostering innovative research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the dissemination of evidence-based practices that promote holistic well-being across diverse populations. The journal aims to serve as a global platform for scholars, practitioners, and educators dedicated to exploring the intersections of mental health, wellness, and cultural competency, with a focus on enhancing professional practice and improving client and community outcomes. 

 

Scope

The official IAWC journal is a peer-reviewed and interdisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing knowledge, policies, wellness-based practices, and wellness counseling while centering diversity science and globalization. The journal seeks to contribute to the globalization of wellness through the dissemination of multidimensional philosophies and practices of wellness across cultures and borders. The journal prioritizes submissions that incorporate diverse perspectives, including those historically underrepresented, and contribute to the equitable promotion of wellness globally.
